HOW HYBRID CLOUD IS CHANGING THE IT BUSINESS?

Hybrid Cloud can fulfill all the enterprise requirements for
data storage and scalable infrastructure. The hybrid
cloud offers better flexibility and agility that cannot be achieved with
on-premise data centers. Enterprises from different sectors have embraced the
concept of hybrid cloud and as new requirements emerge, the challenges for the hybrid
cloud providers have increased.

A document released on December 2018 by Cloud Security
Alliance (CSA), a non-profit organization for defining and raising the
awareness for cloud-computing and National Technology Security Coalition, a
non-profit organization to advocate information security.

The report highlighted that cloud computing has rapidly been
adopted by the enterprises and even as a default IT environment instead of
legacy infrastructure. Cloud has become
a stepping stone for the digital transformation leading towards rapid use of
technology for dynamic infrastructure and software resourcefulness.

Cloud adoption in the enterprise network has also opened the
doors for the numerous threats. The threats and risks aren’t abating the growth
of the cloud; it’s actually improving the technology. Many IT organizations are coming forward that
mitigate the risk of a security breach by defining policies. Each of the
mobility devices, email or even the enterprise network is secured by encryption and containerization.

The solutions offered depends
on the size of the operational data that
need to be protected. Cloud Providers offer risk assessment and framework for
the policies that can help the enterprise to reduce the security risk. As a hybrid environment depends on two different infrastructures,
private and public both having varied technology requirements, hence enterprises
can use third-party assessment to
calculate the security risk.

Cloud service providers may not be enough for the enterprises
that want to involve mobility solutions and back-up the database information.
Involving a third-party vendor for the risk analysis of data that can give
legal and deployment advice about policies
will help the enterprises in the long-run to reduce the risk.
